An old fashioned trattoria : Chester White

Down a one way street in Potts Point, it really is a suprising find. This charming old cottage in Potts Point has been converted into an old fashioned trattoria.
Obviously here the headline act is the platter centred on your choice of salumi, speck, culatello, prosciutto coming locked and loaded with chunky house-made pickles, a jacket potato, Sicilian green olives, some slices of asiago cheese and bread.
But no meal is complete without an order of Chester Truffle cacio e pepe served out of a Sardinian truffled Pecorino cheese wheel.

Slide in off the footpath and grab a vintage red stool at the bar. Or squeeze onto one of a few tall tables or a narrow bench on the balcony surrounded by a white picket fence. One of the three gents, who treat you like you're in their lounge room with an almost alarmingly casual style of service.

This tiny spot offers great wines, charcuterie and laid-back retro vibes. Is what it's all about. Keep it cosy, keep it small :)
